Aamir met his ex wife Reena Dutta when both were teenagers. They
married very soon in their early twenties. They had two children, Junaid & Ira, and led a
quiet, publicity-shunning family life till Aamir got linked
romantically to Kiran Rao, an assistant to director Ashutosh Gowariker.

Aamir khan began his career as a child actor in film 'Yaadon ki Baarat' (1973) when he was only 8 yrs old

Aamir khan will go to great lenghts to give a convincing portrayal-including,it is said, drinking heavily in order to play a drinking scene in Raja Hindustani (1996) even though he diesnt drinks in real life

In 2007, Khan was invited to have a wax imitation of himself put on display at Madame Tussauds in London^.. However Khan politely denied saying "thats not important to me..people will see my films if they want to"(thats quite unbelievable..nahi?)

The three-disk international version DVD, Like Stars on Earth,(TZP) is slated to be released on September 22, 2009.The Walt Disney Company (which acquired 14.85 per cent of UTV) has bought the home video rights for distribution of Like Stars on Earth for its upcoming release in North America, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

which film is your personal favourite : Taare Zameen Par or Ghajjini and Why?

do u think Aamir's decission of not attending the award functions (except national award) is right? why/why not?

on basis of performance, who wuld u choose : Darshil safary in TZP (as ishaan) or Aamir khan in ghajjini (as sanjay singhania)

wat r ur views regarding the khan war in bollywood? :)

In my opinion : 1.my personal fav is TZP though i really loved ghajjini too.if ghajjini is all about love and revenge, TZP is emotional,heart etching having a social msg too.the way aamir deals with ishaan is commendable and the scenes are extremely beautifully directed. ishaan doesnt speak much while in hostel yet his expressions says it all

2.this decision is very good for all other actors..but as an Aamir fan, i wuld have loved to see him attending award functions

3.in terms of performance, Aamir khan in ghajjini rocked..i havnt seen such a mindblowing, solid performance by any other actor..and moreover, he was looking damn handsome in ghajjini

4.i really love this khan war because in competing against each other, these khan actore do give wonderful performances..in the end, i guess everybody wants to see good movies, be it of Aamir khan or Shahrukh khan

Really? That's surprising... some of Aamirs recent pics (TZP onwards) are just amazing.

Difficult decision yaar... both were quite awesome. Erm.. I guess, TZP wins tho... the lil boy crying when sent to boarding school was just like the most heartaching bit - plus the 'Maa' track. Plus in Ghajini...Aamir's bald look... hmm.. won't say anything else..

I guess, it's down to ones preference not weather it's right or wrong.

Darshil definitely... he was just amazing... :=D> (but I bet Aamir had a big hand behind Darshil's expressions and acting skills so credit to him too...)

Yaar asking an SRK fan this... okies so without being biased... only recently do I think Aamir is the better actor, but I think that's due to SRK trying his best to stay young so doing aisi useless flicks. Koi meaningful role kare toh I guess, he's still got it in him.

Aamir's flicks have meaning that's why I like them and every scene is clearly thought out - you don't get disappointed. Personality wise Aamir (without being rude) has an ego issue. SRK is better from this aspect, he will not listen to idle talk. He will let the world say what they want, he knows his own value. Aamir takes cheap digs at time - his downfall, I guess.

But you know... what the media shows is not always the true story. This Khan war in itself I feel is media inflicted. SRK himself tried to clarify this in Billu Barber indirectly.

Guess, naive people are what keeps the media thriving with lies.

PS: I hope I haven't offended anyone.

Aamir khan in ghajini cuz he was extremely scary but he was a good actor

just wanted to add..

my fav song from an Aamir khan movie is "Mere Haath Mein..."
everything in that song, from the music, to lyrics, location, emotions..everything was perfect :8->
