This Fan Club will be dedicated exclusively for the actresses from yesteryear say till 70's. Not after.
We all had some brilliant actresses in Bollywood from the yesteryear. Even now many of their films bring out nostalgic feeling. Madhubala, Nargis, Vaijantimala, Waheeda Rehman, Meena Kumari, Sharmila Tagore, Suraiya, well the list is endless!!!
Let dedicate this thread to these awesome actresses of that era, who showed the way to many of current generation actresses too.

Yayyyy... :cheers: ...Finally we have an FC by P_K ji...
One actress whose films i have watched the most, amongst the few names you have mentioned above...is Sharmila Tagore. Guess she is one of my fav's from the 70's...and her movies with Rajesh Khanna...hav watched approximately all....liked their pairing. Above all, most of her movies have some great music and unforgetable songs too.

Yes ji finally I make a FC too. : : Sharmila was really good. But my favourite were Waheeda Rehman (#1) and Meena Kumari. I have watched each and every film of Waheedaji. Infact the one's available in the market, I have them all with me too.

Thanks for posting the pictures...only knew a few of them by name...wasn't familiar with faces.
Waheeda ji ki unfortunately i haven't watched any movie....except for 'Om Jai Jagdish'... 'blush'

I loved Sharmila Tagore in Kashmir ki khali. 'Tareef karun kya...' being my fav track in that flick
.. I've watched many films with these actresses but when I was really small so my recall is not very good. Pretty hard to differentiate between them for this reason.
I remember the names and faces of most of the the male actors though. ' )' Unfortunately can't discuss them here.
Nice FC though... a touch different from the rest.
