Rann


Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Rann’ is planned for 2010 release. Starring Amitabh Bachchan as a media man, the movie ran into troubles over a song that has similarities to the national anthem of India.


Veer


Written by Salman Khan and directed by Anil Sharma of Gadar fame, ‘Veer’ is a period drama set in the 18th century. Starring Salman as a Pindari warrior, the film has the Katrina Kaif look-alike Zarine Khan playing a princess.

Kites


A love story that crosses borders and linguistic barriers, Kites is a tale of romance between an Indian guy and a Mexican beauty. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori in lead roles, the movie is directed by Anurag Basu.

Set for January release but can be delayed.

My Name Is Khan


Karan Johar wields the megaphone for this project named My Name Is Khan. Starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol, the film is a moving tale of a Muslim man, who suffers from Asperger’s syndrome.

Releasing on February 12

Pyaar Impossible


An out and out romantic film shot in foreign locales, ‘Pyaar Impossible’ has Priyanka Chopra as the hottest girl on the campus and Uday Chopra, a padhaku guy.

Set to hit the theaters on 8 January.

Karthik Calling Karthik


Farhan Akhtar is back as an actor in Karthik Calling Karthik that also stars Deepika Padukone. Releasing on 26th February, the movie is learnt to be a thriller with a comic touch. You can expect the unexpected.
