Kumkum goes in the backside of the resort.. and stands there quietly blushing and smiling to herself... when Sumit comes and stands behind her... Kumkum feels his presence... and tries moving away... but Sumit holds her hand and pulls her towards him, she turns and comes into his arms.. They are eye-locked, into each others arms, in the beautiful moonlight...

Kumkum snaps out and moves her eyes off him..

Kumkum (trying to move away) : Su... Sumit hume bahar chalna chahiye... koi.. koi aa jaayega...

Sumit (still luking at her) : Umhmm.. Koi nahi aayega.. maine Tannu se keh diya hai..

Kumkum luks at him, he smiles naughtily and she blushes and luks away..

Kumkum (showing false attitude) : Chodo mujhe... mujhe nahi baat karni tumse..

Sumit (knowing what she meant) : Achcha... wo kyun?

Kumkum (luks at him) : Kyun... Kyun kya?... Mujhe aise tang karoge to main kyun baat karun..

Sumit (innocently) : Tang.. aur main.. maine kab tang kiya.. main to bas tumhe Tannu ki engagement party mein laana chahta tha... bas... isme kya galat?

Kumkum : Tumne aur tumhari Tannu ne milke jo plan kiya naa wo sab samajh aa gaya mujhe.. samjhe..

Sumit (chuckles) : Lo.. ab yeh naya plan kaunsa?.. Kya keh rahi ho tum...?

Kumkum : Chodo mujhe... maine kaha naa.. kuch nahi kehna mujhe..

Sumit pulls her closer : Chodne ke liye yeh haath nahi thama..

Kumkum keeps luking at him... then blushes.. and luks down coz Sumit was not ready to take his eyes off..

Still holding her, he comes lil more close.. Kumkum gets conscious again...

Kumkum : Su... Sum... Sumit... M.. Main.. Main...

Sumit (standing really close to her) : Hmm... bolo..

Kumkum (trying getting away) : Sumit plzz... jaane doo..

Sumit : Jaane dun?

Kumkum nods innocently, pleading like a child as she was getting red... being so close to him..

Sumit : Theek hai.. magar ek shart hai..

Kumkum (who had smiled on listening that he agreed... luks at him doubting and asks slowly) : Kya??

Sumit (smiling naughtily) : Dont worry abhi wo nahi maang raha jo tum abhi nahi de paogi...

Kumkum blushes..

Sumit : Simply confess ur love...

Kumkum (luks at him and then makes a face) : Nahi.

Sumit : Kya...??? Kya kaha???

Kumkum : Sahi suna... main kuch nahi kahungi...

Sumit : Kyun... kyun nahi kahogi?... Hmm

Kumkum : Tumne kaha?... pehle tum kahoge fir main..

Sumit : Yeh kis kitaab mein likha hai ki pehle ladka hi kahe... hmm???

Kumkum : Maine to ladke –ladki waali baat ki hi nahi.. main bas itna keh rahi hun ki pehle tum kahoge that’s it...

Then she takes her hand away and starts going..

Sumit : Soch lo... aise zid karogi to main apna iraada badal bhi sakta hun...

Kumkum (turns) : Kya matlab??

Sumit (comes closer) : Matlab yeh ki main kisi aisi ladki ko pasand karunga jo meri baat maan le..

Kumkum makes a serious face and goes to him... Sumit on seeing thinks that he spoke something wrong.. he is about to apologize..

Kumkum(with an attitude) : Go ahead..

Sumit : Hunnhhh... kya???

Kumkum : Kisi aur ko hi jaakar pasand kar lo.. I don’t mind... Samjhe... Gudbye...

Saying this she goes away from there..

Sumit (thinking) : C’mon yaar Sumit kar le baat... aisa kya.. abhi teri love-story theek se shuru bhi nahi hui aur tune jhagda bhi kar liya.. Ab tu kahe ya wo kahe... kya fark padta hai... pyaar to tum dono hi karte ho...

Kumkum : Paagal ho kya... tum agar jaake warden se baat karoge to mere bachne ki thodi bohut ummeed bhi khatm ho jaayegi...

Sumit : Kumkum.. tumhe akele jaane mein darr lag raha hai... mujhe le nahi jaa rahi... aur tumhari friend sudha hai nahi... to ... ab kya karna hai hmm?

Kumkum : Pata nahi.. main jaati hun... guards se baat karti hun...

She is about to get down when Sumit’s cell rings..

Sumit : Haan Tannu.. nahi wo Kumkum...

He stops... and luks at Kumkum and then continues..

Sumit : Tannu m just coming with Kumkum... aake samjhaata hun.. Okk byee...

Kumkum : Kya hua? Hum kahan jaa rahe hain..?

Sumit : Tannu ke ghar... aaj rat tum wahin ruk jao..

Kumkum : Sumit kaisi baatein kar rahe ho?.. Arey wo shaadi ka ghar hai... and also main Tanuja ko jaanti hi kitna hun... aur...

Sumit : Main jaanta hun use.. itna bharosa to kar sakti ho naa?

Kumkum : Sumit baat bharose ki nahi hai.. Mujhe achcha nahi lagta.. I’ll just be a burden and... Sumit I can’t take it.. ki koi zabardasti mujhe....

Sumit : Kumkum isme burden ki baat kaha se aayi?... Kumkum main tumhe jaanta hun aur Tannu ko bhi.. agar aisi koi baat hoti to main khud hi tumhe wahan nahi le jaata... trust me Kumkum...

Kumkum keeps luking at him....

“....Trust me Kumkum....”

Kumkum is standing with lost eyes, lost senses, near the window... She remembers Sumit’s words...

“....Trust me Kumkum....”

Sudha comes and stands beside her...

Sudha : Yaad hai... tune bataya tha ki tum Tanuja ke ghar pe ruki thi...

Kumkum (still luking outside) : Ajeeb baat hai naa... Dekho naa hamarey rishte ki shuruwaat bhi ek behes se hi hui thi... tab bhi... tab bhi humne is baare mein nahi socha... nahi socha ki jis rishte ki shuruwaat itni kamzor hai... wo aage kya nibhega...

Sudha (thinks something) : Khair achcha hai ki yeh rishta ek saal mein hi khatm ho gaya... ab tu apni zindagi naye sire se shuru kar sakti hai...

Kumkum (luks at Sudha) : Matlab... main samjhi nahi...

Sudha : Yehi ki tu dobara se shaadi..

Kumkum (shouts) : Sudha... (for the first time she has tears in her eyes) Is ek rishte se bohut kuch kho chuki hun main... apni himmat, apna aatmvishwaas, apna pyaar.... yahan tak ki... apna.... apna bachcha bhi.... ab kuch nahi bacha mere pass khone ko... kuch bhi nahi...

Saying this she she slowly wipes her eyes, before the tears could roll down...

Kumkum (luking outside the window) : Ab to aansuon(tears) ne bhi saath chod diya hai... (after a pause) Main sone jaa rai hun... Gudnight..

Sudha : Hmm goodnight...

Kumkum goes inside her room...

Sudha wipes her tears and says to herself...

Sudha : Kumkum jitna maine tujhe jaana hai... Tere dil mein abhi bhi tera pyaar kisi kone mein zinda hai... jiski jagah tu kisi aur ko nahi de sakti... aur main yeh bhi janti hun ki agar teri zindagi mein khushiyan koi waapas laa sakta hai to wo sirf tera pyaar hi hai... Aur main aisa karke rahungi... par usse pehle mujhe yeh jaanna hoga ki aakhir tum dono alag kyun huye? Jahan tak mujhe pata hai tum dono ek doosre se bohut zyaada pyaar karte the... Phir... aisa kya hua ki...

Sudha stands there thinking about this...
