Kumkum is standing in a garden, wearing a white top and blue jeans, she luks at her watch... just then someone holds her from back...

“I’m sorry ... m really sorry..”

Kumkum moves Sumit’s hands away from her and moves a lil further...

Sumit : Ohho kaha na sorry... ab achanak se boss ne kaam de diya so... I was stuck yaar...

Kumkum (turns towards him) : Sumit main pichle 1 ghante se wait kar rahi hun.. aate jaate everyone’s luking at me... and I’v no one to talk with.. Kal jab maine kaha tha ki 4 baje milte hain... to tumne khud 3 baje ka time rakkha .. remember...

Sumit : Ya... I do.. but..

Kumkum : Sumit .. if u were to get late u could have informed me naa... At least try to undertand my point of view...

Sumit : I do Kumkum... n I said m sorry yaar... Seriously.... Maine jaanbujh ke nahi kiya... Okk I’ll take care of it from next time...

Kumkum luks at him...

Kumkum : Plzz Sumit... dekho mere pass sirf sham ko 7 baje tak ka outpass hai.. aur mujhe bohut se kaam bhi hain... n u promised ki tum mujhe saare kaam karaoge...

Sumit : Ummhmmm... yeh tumhari warden aur unka yeh outpass hamesha meri love-story mein villain banke khade hote hain...Not fair yaar... hume saath rehte 1 mahina hone ko hai... n I’v not even kissed u once...

Kumkum (hits him playfully) : Shaayd tum bhool rahe ho ki abhi tak U’ve not even confessed ur love...

Sumit : Wo to pehle tum karogi...

Kumkum : Huhhh.. hume bekaar mein is behes mein fir se nahi panda chahiye... lets go..

Kumkum is with a trolley and keeping different things like... food items, daily use things in a supermarket... Sumit comes...

Sumit : Kumkum ye lo...

Kumkum : Ye kya hai... (picks that thing) Sumit... ye handbag.... ???

Sumit : Haan tumhe handbag chahiye tha naa.. purana waala kharaab ho gaya naa...

Kumkum (smiles) : So sweet... par Sumit main handbags yahan se nahi leti...

Sumit : Ohh

Kumkum : Sumit.. aise dheere dheere hi to hum ek dosre ko jaanege naa...

Sumit smiles n nods...

After billing, they come out n decide to have something to eat..

Kumkum : Mc.D...

Sumit : KFC...

Both speak at one time..

Kumkum : KFC... wahan to nonveg milta hai naa..

Sumit : R u vegetarian?

Kumkum nods slowly...

Sumit : No problem, ermmm Mc Ds. hi chalte hain chalo...

Kumkum smiles... and follows him...

Kumkum goes to give order...

She comes back to Sumit with the order...

Kumkum : Ye lo...

Sumit : Ye kya?... Chicken Burger....

Kumkum : Tumhe Chicken zyaada pasand hai naa..

Sumit smiles ... but then his smile disappears... he looks around... there’s no one... he is sitting alone in Mc. Donald’s... Raj comes..

Raj : Yeh le Chicken Burger... tera favourite...

Sumit : Nahi ... maine chicken khaana chod diya hai...

Raj : chicken khaana chod diya... U’r kidding me right...

Sumit shakes his head meaning no...

Raj : Par kyun?

Sumit : Wo Kum...

Then he remains quiet...

Raj : Kumkum ko nahi pasand tha... hmm.. dekh naa aur tu kehta hai ki tujhe uske hone na hone se koi fark nahi padta...

Sumit (angrily) : Mujhe fark nahi padta...

Raj : Ohh yaa...

Sumit takes the chicken burger and starts eating it... angrily...

Raj (thinks) : Sumit tu jitni koshish kar le... tu ab bhi Kumkum se utna hi pyaar karta hai... magar fir tum dono alag kyun huye?... Kyun?... kaise bhi karke mujhe Kumkum se milna hoga.. shaayad wahi mere sawaalon ka jawaab de paaye...

Raj : Kya sawaal matlab? Mujhe janna hai tumhare aur Kumkum ke baare mein.. itni si to baat hai.. isme ajeeb kya hai?

Sumit : Par...

Raj : Aur waise bhi tujhe to use... uski baton se koi fark nahi padta naa... to batane mein kya problem hai?

Sumit luks at his cell...

The cell rings... lamp is lit... a girl turns towards the cell.. it’s Kumkum.. she picks up the cell and then sees the time... it’s 3 a.m.,

Kumkum (to herself) : Subah ke teen baje hain... Sumit ka call..

She picks up the call..

Kumkum : Hello... Sumit is waqt sab theek... KYAAAAAAAAAAAA... (then she lowers her voice luking at Sudha)...

She moves out of the room to the balcony...

Kumkum : Sumit... tum paagal to nahi ho gaye ho naa... tum hostel ke andar kya kar rahe ho.. I mean abhi 2 ghante pehle hi to humne baat ki thi... to ab kya... okkk... pehle batao tum ho kahan?... Terrace...Okk... main abhi aati hun.. tum wahan se kahin mat jaana theek hai... Just wait there...

She hangs and quietly moves to the terrace...

Kumkum reaches the terrace... it was dark...

Kumkum (softly) : Sumit... Sumit... Sumit kahan..

Till then someone speaks in her ears, her name... she turns and finds Sumit standing...

Kumkum : Sumit.. tum yahan..

Sumit : Ssshhhh..

Saying this he keeps his finger on her mouth.... slowly lights a candle and shows her hand towards a direction... Kumkum turns there...
There was decoration.. a beautiful cake kept there with chocolates and flowers... Kumkum turns towards Sumit who was looking at her lovingly...
Before Kumkum could ask anything , Sumit leads her towards the decoration... the cake read “ I love U “ Kumkum read it slowly... and then Sumit opens her hair slowly, Kumkum’s heartbeat fastened... he moved her hair at one side... and slowly kissed her neck, Kumkum turned the other side and hid her face in his shoulder... holding tightly his shirt...

Sumit slowly whispers in her ears : Tum chahti thi naa ki pehle main kahun lo keh diya... I (he kisses her shoulder)... Love (then he holds her by waist and kisses her neck)... (then he lifts her face her eyes were closed and she was blushing like anything... ) U...

He moves closer to her to actually kiss her... but he saw the shivering of her lips and so he softly touches the side of her lips with his lips...

Kumkum hugs him tightly... hiding her face in his neck...

Sumit caresses her hair n smiles...

Sudha : What........????? tu shaadi karna chahti hai....???? but u said that u wanna do a job... I mean tu MBA kar rahi hai... n...

Kumkum : Ohhhooo... tu uski tension mat le... we’v decided ki mere MBA khatam hone ke baad hi hum shaadi karenge and tab tak uski job bhi confirm ho jaayegi ... I mean permanent ho jaayegi.. and shaadi ke baad... kuch time baad main job kar lungi...

Sudha : Shaadi ke baad job... That’s not easy...

Kumkum : Arey baba tu tension mat le.. sab ho jaayega.. tu apni packing pe dhyaan de... kal jaana hai na... poore ek saal ke liye mujhse door ho rahi hai... meri shaadi pe bhi nahi aayegi naa...

Sudha (luking tense) : Isi baat ki tension hai... ki main to Sumit se ek bhi baar mili hi nahi aur tu use shaadi bhi kar legi...aur main bhi yahan nahi rahungi...

Kumkum : tujhe mujh pe to bharosa hai na?... itna yakeen hai na ki main koi galat faisla nahi lungi?

Sudha : haan Kumkum magar..

Kumkum : Uff tu bhi kitni tension leti hai... Sudha bohut soch liya mere baare mein ab kuch apne baare mein soch aur jaake apni padhai pe dhyaan dena ... samjhi... number change hote hi bata dena... and don’t worry main Sumit ko bol dungi ki kal wo tujhe airport pe hi aake mil le... theek..

Sudha : I’ll miss u yaar.....

Kumkum hugs her : Will miss u too...

Sumit is running, in the airport... and finally stops at a place... Kumkum is standing there... she turns..

Kumkum : Sumit... Ohhh nooo... Sudha.... Sudhaa... Sumit... Sum...

But Sudha had gone...

Kumkum : Kitni der laga di... maine kaha tha ki 6 baje ki flight hai time pe aa jaana... and still.. tumhe pata hai wo kab se wait kar rahi thi...kitna milna chahti thi...

Sumit (still panting) : aaram se yaar... woooff.... meri haalat dekh ke nahi lag raha ki main chah ke bhi nahi aa paaya.. ab mera ghar airport se itni door hai to main kya karun... koshish kari ab tab bhi nahi aa paaya to...

Kumkum : To jab maine kaha tha ki kal raat mein hi mil lo tab... tabhi mil lete to aaj itna bhaagna nahi padta naa..

Sumit : Lo.. ab yeh bhi meri galti...

Kumkum : Haan.. ab wo tension mein hi rahegi ki main kis ladke se shadi kar rahi hun...

Sumit : Kya... kya kaha tumne?... one sec... u mean to say she was to check me if m the right guy for u?... I mean tumhe ab bhi bharosa nahi hai mujhpe..

Kumkum : arey nahi... maine aisa kab kaha...

Sumit : Matlab to wahi hua...

He starts going from there... and Kumkum follows him..

Kumkum : Sumit listen to me... it’s not that... be practical Sumit... uske sivay mera is duniya mein koi nahi hai... so she was just being protective... n believe me mere dil mein koi doubt nahi tha... na hai...

They reach outside... Sumit turns and stands close to her...

Sumit : Aur mera is duniya mein tumahre sivay koi nahi hai....

They stand still for sometime... then Sumit moves from there to go n get his bike... Kumkum stands there feeling guilty...

Kumkum (to herself) : ab main kya karun?... na Sudha galat hai aur na Sumit... par meri kya galti...??

Sumit comes and stops the bike for her... Kumkum sees but still ignores and starts walking...

Sumit sees this n gets more angry... he moves his bike near her... and stops again...

Kumkum luks at him but he did not look at her... so she again starts moving...

Sumit sees this and this time stops the bike near her and holds her arm.. and pulls her nearer...

Sumit : Kya problem hai tumhari?.... main kab se tumhe bike pe baithne ko keh raha hun... kyun nahi baith rahi?

Kumkum : Meri problem.... ohh yeahhh... but I don’t think so mujhe problem hai... n by the way maine nahi suna ki tumne mujhse kaha ki main bike pe baithun .. did u?

Sumit lowers his gaze...

Sumit : Kumkum naaraz hone ka haq sirf tumhe to nahi hai...

Kumkum : right.. but mujhe manane ka haq to hai..??

Sumit : Achcha.. yeh koi tareeka hota hai manane ka... ki finally mujhe hi jhukna pade... mujhe hi bolna pade pehle... khud hi naraaz hoke chale jao... hmmm???

Kumkum : Ab mujhe to yehi tareeka aata hai... tumhe koi aur aata hai to bata do...

Sumit( still a lil serious) : Kumkum, give some time...

Kumkum : Okk.. main tumhare saath bike pe chal rahi hun... hostel aate tak normal ho jaoge?

Sumit (slowly) : Yeahhh...

Kumkum : Sure?

Sumit ,slowly luking down, nods. Kumkum sits behind him and he drives off...

On reaching the hostel, Kumkum gets off the bike and stands beside him,

Kumkum : Mujhe to nahi lagta tumhara mood sahi hua...

Sumit : N.. nahi m fine... neways... tum abhi jao main 3 baje tak aaon?... tab tak padhai ho jaayegi tumhari?

Kumkum : Dont change the topic Sumit... ab itna kya bura manna...

Sumit : arey baba m fine... sach... ab bolo kab tak lene aaon?

Kumkum : ermm... 4 baje tak...

Sumit : sirf 4 ghante milenge...

Kumkum : Sumit mere semester xams aa rahe hain...

Sumit (in a slow voice): Okk... chalo bye...

Kumkum starts going but then turns and goes near Sumit, kisses his cheek and runs...

Sumit looks at her and smiles shking his head...

She goes and stops near the main gate of hostel.. Sumit winks and gives her a flying kiss...

She blushes and goes in...
See... I took a long break.... so a long part for u all.... hope u all like it...
