The days passed by quickly and with each passing day the relationship between Sukk changed seasons.

From just being an employee and a boss to being good friends of each other…and unknowingly becoming a strong pillar for each other was the beautification of this bonding!!

One such morning, Kk gets a call to attend the board meeting and leave for the office urgently.

Kk for a while becomes frantic but then gets prepared for the same and walks off towards the office.

While she is waiting for her bus, a car stops near her. Kk ignores the car and just waits for her bus.

The car’s windows open up and the person calls for her: “I can help you if you want”

Without looking at the person she calls: No…thank you…

The voice says: Kumkum…

Her eyes follow the voice and she is surprised: Sumit Sir,aap…

Su: Shukr hai aapne dekha toh…

Kk feels embarrassed and apologizes…”Sorry Sir…”

Su: Toh chalein…waise bhi aaj buses/autos/taxis ki strike hai…

Kk doesn’t move…but the onlookers who are also waiting for the bus get restless.

One of the people speaks up: “Aaj strike hai?”

Kk & Su looks towards the person and Su smiles and says: “Jee…strike hai…lekin bas inke liye”…pointing towards Kk.

Laughter collides amidst the crowd…and Kk blushes like never before.

She covers herself and gets seated inside the car.

Su waves at the crowd and starts the car off.

A soft music is played on the grounds of: “Aaj kal paaon zameen par…nahi padte mere”
Su: Gaana change kar doon?

Kk: Nahi..rehne dijiye…Sir…aapne takleef kyun ki?

Su: Takleef nahi ki…bas main yahin se jaa raha tha…tumhe dekha toh gaadi rok di…tum bhi office jaa rahi ho…main bhi wahin jaa raha hoon…toh socha akele jaane se acha hoga saath ho jaayein!!

Kk keeps on looking at him…

Su: Kk…Kk…

Kk gets moved: Hmmm…

Su: Kahan kho gayi?

Kk: Kahi nahi…

She then thinks of the sudden board meeting and asks Su about the same.

Kk: Mujhe kyun bulaya meeting mein? Mera kya kaam?

Su: Tumhara hi bahut bada kaam hai…

Kk: Par kya?

Su: Aaj ki board meeting mein tum presentations dogi…

Kk gets surprised and nervous and asks: Main…

Su: Haan tum…

Kk: Lekin Sir…main toh…matlab main nahi bol paaongi…

Su: Tum bologi…aur mujhe yakeen hai…ke sab kuch acha hi hoga…

Kk: Nahin Sir…itne logon ke saamne…darr lagta hai…

Su: Interview mein toh nahi dari thi tum…

Kk: Sir…woh meri zaroorat thi…lekin yeh mere job profile mein nahi baithta….

Su: Agar tum aisa sochti ho Kk…toh mujhe bada dukh hai…arey zaroori nahi ke hum humari soch ki maryaadayein banakar rakhein…yeh humara kaam nahi toh hum nahi karenge…aisa sochna kitna sahi hai…agar aage badhna hai toh har kaam bakhubi aana chahiye…aur tumhare job profile ke bahar main tumse kuch karne ke liye nahi keh raha hoon…meeting 1 ghante ke baad hai…tab tak main tumhe saara project samjha doonga…tum CD theek se dekhna aur bas…

Kk: Sir…main aapki baat maanti hoon…lekin mujhe sach mein darr lag raha hai…

Su: Kis baat ka darr Kk?

Kk: Main nahi bol paayi toh?

Su: Mere rehte hue bhi?

Kk gets even more surprised by this question and doesn’t know what to say further.

Su: Jawab doh!!

Kk: Agar aap rahenge…toh…

Su: Toh…

Kk: Toh mujhe darr nahi lagega…

Su smiles back at her…and say: That’s my Girl…

Kk smiles back too…but keep on wondering…that what words magic does Su have? Why she can’t say no to him? And what is making her more confident? It’s just not her own confidence of doing well but it’s more of Su’s presence with her throughout which she confides in herself of having it more often!!

On the other side Su keeps thinking: “Main jaanta hoon tum yeh kar sakti hoo Kk…pata nahi kyun...par main chahta hoon…ke tum kaamyabi ki har seedhi paar kar jaao…shayad isliye ke maine tumhare liye anjane mein hi kuch sapna dekha hai, nahi jaanta kyun tumhare liye hi main itna sochta hoon…kyun itna kar raha hoon…kya rishta hai humara...par shayad yehi theek hai…shayad yehi sahi hai”

Both of them are lost in their thoughts while the song keeps on playing for them “Aaj kal paaon zameen par nahi padte mere”…as if this rendition was playing the vocals for their feelings.

They both were silent…since nothing was left to be said...!! Few words had done the job for them!!

Writing after really a longg time...as my home pc is away...have managed to write it from University......

The presentation was a successful one...and Kk did her job well....So well that Su was all in smiles after it....

Everyone congratulated Sumit...bt he announced it...that it was Kk who did his job easier than him....everyone congratulated Kk too...and she was relieved and happy looking at the satisfaction on Su's face....

She thou could not understand why is she feeling so.....

After everyone disperses Su and Kk come face to face...

Su: Congratulations Madam...

Kk: Thank you Sir....

After a pause...she says: Ab main chaloon Sir....

Su: Itni jaldi...

Kk: Jaldi....Sir raat ho chuki hai is poore presentation ke chakkar mein....

Su realizes after having a look at his watch: Ohh haan...khayall hi nahi raha...

Su: Toh tum kaise jaaogi...

Kk: Bus mil jaayegi mujhe Sir....ab tak strike khatm hui hogi....

Su just wonders why she said so...and then realises their morning conversations...

Su smiles at her....and says: Strike bhale hi khatm hui hoo...lekin treat toh banati hai...

Kk: Treat?

Su: Haan treat...jo main tumhe dene wala hoon is successful presentation ke peeche....

Kk: Sir...mujhe ghar jaana hoga...sab intezaar kar rahe honge..aur pareshan bhi honge...

Su takes his cell and says: Unhein call karo..aur kaho ke tumhein der ho rahi hai...aur chinta naa karein...main tumhe ghar chod doonga...

Kk feels a little awkward but then agrees....she calls and informs Panditji's house abt it...

She hands over the cell back to him and thanks him...

Su: Ohh..no formalities please kk...chalein...

Kk nods....and gives a smile to him...

Both come out of the office and head to the car....

Su makes her sit...and starts driving the car...the moment was touching...as something was driving them together....Su and Kk both were too happy to express anything....

After a moment of silence...

Kk: Toh hum kahan jaa rahe hai....

Su: Tum darr rahi ho kya....

Kk: Nahi...darr kyun..apke saath hote hue....

Su smiles and continues driving....

They reach a little remote place and Kk gets too awkward in seeing that they r actually reaching a remote place together....

She doesnt know what to say...bt keeps mum....and lets the breeze flow...

Su stops the car....and asks Kk to come out...

She does so...and then Su asks for her hand....

Kk obliges while giving him a smile...

Kk: Sir....

Su: Shhhhhhhhhh....chalo mere saath....

They come to a place where noone is present except them...the place is completely windy....and chiller....

Kk doesnt know what to say...she did wanted to say at a point but could nt...as she got Su's touch to feel....

Kk leaves his hand at a stretch feeling the awkward moment suddenly...and stands apart....without saying anything...

Su keeps looking at her serene beauty....and goes near her...

KK feels his presence....tries again to go away...bt Su holds her frm back....

This time she doesnt move...lets his touch on her body....

Su holds her waist tightly...and moves his hands over her arms....

Kk closes her eyes....

Su gently pushes her hair back and gives one longg kiss on her neck....

She doesnt move at all....slowly she goes in his arms....

Su starts kissing her neck....again...and then pecks on her cheeks....

Kk with this touch...completely looses out and hugs him tightly....

Su caresses her hair...and holds her face in his hand....and says:

"Tum bahut khubsurat ho Kk..."...

She again closes her eyes....

Su kisses her eyes....and then slowly moves towards her lips....and gives a passionate kiss on her lips...

Kk freezes herself in his arms....and they both hug each other tightly....

They had reciprocated love for each other through their silence....words didnt had any place for it!!

They remained in each others arms till there was a new dawn!!
